From June 18^th to 20^th, annual Guangzhou International Logistics Equipment & RFID Technology Exhibition 2010 & 6^th Guangzhou International Brand Forklift & Accessories Exhibition China 2010 was successfully held in Pazhou International Convention and Exhibition Center in Guangzhou.

On June 18^th, leaders from relevant government departments and supervisors from major manufacturing companies in the field of forklift industry attended the opening ceremony of the two exhibitions and made addresses respectively,  including Chen Shanru—Director of Development and Reform Commission of Guangdong Province, Lai Tiansheng—Director of Administration of Quality and Technology Supervision of Guangdong Province, Yang Jianchu—Director of Guangdong Provincial Commission of Economy and Informatization, Li Jianyou—Director of National Quality Control & Inspection Center for Construction Machinery, Zhang Jie—Secretary-General of Industrial Truck Institution of China Construction Machinery Association (CITA for short), Zhao Jiming—General Manager of China Forklift Company and Kong Xianghong, Deputy Secretary-General of Guangdong Logistic Association, et cetera.

On the opening ceremony, all the guests, exhibitors and visitors witnessed the starting ceremony of South China Internet of Things Pilot Project and the establishment meeting of Logistics Standardization Technical Administration of Guangdong Province. It was also on the opening ceremony that the purchase and cooperation meeting for South China Internet of Things Pilot Project was announced to commence.

More than 100 companies specialized in forklift and accessories manufacturing took part in the exhibition, such as LiuGong, XGMA, Tailift, Jingjiang Forklift, Lonking, Kipor, Shantui, Vita-Wheel, Noblelift, Xinchai, Jinxing, Nnookee, Shanye, Fujian Longji, Pengyuan, Goldentide Unikodi, Shanghai Tanon, Xunqi, Zibo Battery, Yi-fine, Hanjiang Dawei, Pingliang Tire, Isuzu, Kubota, and Danaher. It was rather noticeable that LiuGong exhibited a large-tonnage 16 ton internal combustion heavy-duty forklift, which attracted a lot of visitors. Besides that, LiuGong invited dancing team to perform several dancing shows and held lottery activity, seizing lots of interests of the visitors, which even caused traffic jam inside the exhibition area.

The financial crisis in the last two years had greatly attacked the logistic equipment industry, which brought severe challenges as well as unprecedented opportunities to all the companies related to the industry. On June 19^th, a forum titled as Development Strategies for Logistic Industry in Guangdong and Hong Kong in Post Financial Crisis Era was simultaneously held in Exhibition Area C. Huang Jianming, the Director of Economic and Information Commission of Guangdong Province, Professor Gui Shouping from South China University of Technology, and Li Najia, the President of Hong Kong Institute of Supply Chain Management made reports on the forum to share data with the attendees and gave suggestions and advices to the managers on the forum, so as to encourage them to search for innovation and upgrades in the future.
